Like all metrosexual douchelords, I love art. And like anyone with taste, I love Tim Westwood. So imagine my joy when I discovered that Westwood, normally famed for repeatedly pressing buttons that make the sounds of smashing glass and explosions, has dipped his toe into the murky art world by painting a picture of a butterfly - possibly actually with his toe, judging by the outcome. I’m not familiar with Westwood’s artistic oeuvre, but if this little beauty is anything to go by then I imagine it’s just heavy hit after heavy hit after heavy hit after heavy hit (as the man himself would say). After all, nothing says hip-hop like a picture of a purple butterfly - and to make it even better, it’s all for a very good cause as the proceeds from the sale will be going to Keech Hospice Care. Peep game and get in on the eBay auction here - the going price at the time of writing is £53 which, frankly, is a bargain for having a painting by Tim Westwood in your house.
According to the Keech Hospice Care website, other celebrities lending their talents to the cause include Gloria Hunniford, Sooty, Sweep and Soo, and Jenson Button (”signed by the star, painted by ITV presenter Louise Goodman in the style of Jenson’s helmet”). But none of those are nearly as big in the game so I’d stick with Westwood if I were you.
