Second Son

First up apologies for the lateness of this post. Secondly thanks to everyone that came down to support the latest installment of the Reset. For us, it’s the only chance we get to sell stock the way we want to and to meet customers face to face and hear what we’re doing right and what’s not quite so right. Thanks again, we had a blast.

So we decided to go with the theme of SS09 which was the occult, all seeing-eyes and all that eerie shit. So we came up with something somewhere between a masonic lodge and an old curiosity shop. I won’t bore you with the details but it took time. The cherry on the cake had to be the antique swords and daggers that we borrowed. Thanks to Nike for trusting us (”Sharp? Nah, these couldn’t even cut butter…”)…..peep the real sharkskin handles….

I’ve got to say I was rather relieved when these badboys were safely stashed at home away from these pissed idiots….

 After everything was taken down it was time to get pissy. Shoreditch on a Saturday night never ceases to amaze me.

We stopped by Cordy House for the after party but to be honest I couldn’t see shit and it was a mad sweatbox so we headed North to PC Williams’ knees up at 412 bar or something…Dalston way. By this point it was all getting a little messy….all that hard work and a bucket of Jagermeister equals me on the floor. I’m assuming from this next picture that I’m trying to breakdance and take photos simultaneously. While Will asks Ben for some advice on how to text girls.

The next day was a bit of a blur but by 9pm we were itching for some action. I love Bank Holiday Sundays…always a good group of people out and about…so after a bit of Loong Key Vietnamese we headed to a rather swanky bar on Bethnal Green Road to check out my friend Amber Topaz get naked with her posse of Burlesque dancers. It was weirder than a Kanye West fan.

Quick disclaimer: my chain was a gift that night, and rather like those gash jumpers your mum gives you at Christmas, I had to wear it for a day so as not to hurt Ben and Nick’s feelings. Guys, if you’re reading this I’m joking, I love it…. so much so I don’t want to fuck it up by wearing it out anymore.
