The talented chaps of the Pirates art collective have taken over the club formerly known as Dust for several months to create their Pop-Up Pirates space. For those not familiar with Dust, it was basically the last refuge of the damned when all other bars in Clerkenwell and Old Street were closed but booze had to be found. Many a regrettable night was spent there, which makes it all the more amazing that Pirates have pulled off the feat of transforming it into a place you actually want to go instead. Where there was once only stale beer and vomit, we now have vibrant artworks; where there was once only music reminiscent of a mobile disco, we now have the finest sounds the capital has to offer; and where there were once only bellowing drunkards, we now have a healthy mix of respectable gentlefolk and hot chicks.

And this Thursday 17th June, Second Son will be taking over Pop-Up Pirates to present a night of hedonism entitled FUCK SHIT UP. Entry is FREE before the DJs kick off at 9pm and £4 afterwards, there are FREE T-SHIRTS for the first 30 people and we will have music courtesy of Noisses, Synamatix of The Daily Street, Rosco & DJ Worst Ever and Sarti the Italian Ripper.
